Kantametro Shaft Refurbishment, Package 4

Summary

Helsinki City Transport is procuring the comprehensive technical refurbishment of four Kantametro shafts: Antinkatu shaft (KP2), Kaisaniemi South shaft (HY1), the platform emergency-exit staircase (HY2), and Kaisaniemi North shaft (HY3). The works include structural repairs and improvements to heating, ventilation, electrical, lighting and fire-safety systems, as well as measures to address water leaks and ice formation. The refurbished structures and systems are intended to remain safe and functional for at least 25 years.
