National Climate Risk and Vulnerability Assessment

Summary

Finland’s Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry is procuring the design, delivery and reporting of a national climate risk and vulnerability assessment. The work will synthesise existing information on climate hazards relevant to Finland and assess exposure, vulnerability, adaptive capacity and regional differences. Deliverables will address sectoral, cross-sectoral, systemic and transboundary risks, their prioritisation and economic significance, information gaps, and a proposal for regularly updating the assessment. The procurement is not divided into lots; the main results are due by 31 October 2027 and the final report by 28 February 2028.
