Tender detail
Stormwater modelling software
Summary
The City of Kerava is procuring stormwater modelling software for its urban planning and water services, together with expert services to build the model and interpret its results. The software is intended to assess how the city’s stormwater system performs and support its development and the design of new infrastructure. The model must cover stormwater sewers, culverts, key open ditches and channels, pumping stations, detention and storage structures, and connections to water bodies and discharge points. It must support catchment analysis, network capacity assessments and flood modelling based on user-defined rainfall duration, intensity and recurrence or rainfall amount. The supplier will build and commission the model, assess and document source-data gaps, recommend additional surveys or data completion, and review the results with the city. The city will provide, among other inputs, a ground-surface model, land-cover data, approximately 170 km of sewer pipes, 12 pumping stations and information on structures. Network changes must be updateable in the software at least annually. The tender submission deadline is 16 October 2026.
