Renewal of the Upalinko 110 kV substation

Summary

Turku Energia Sähköverkot Oy is procuring a turnkey renewal of the Upalinko 110 kV substation in Turku. The works include constructing a two-storey substation building, supplying and installing an SF6-free double-bus GIS switchgear and its control, protection, automation and auxiliary power systems, installing 110 kV cables, and demolishing the existing outdoor switchgear and substation building. The scope also includes design, testing, commissioning and documentation. The new substation is planned to enter service by 1 December 2029, and demolition works are to be completed by 1 June 2030.
