HERI2 Automated Monitoring Equipment for Railway Structures

Summary

The Finnish Transport Infrastructure Agency is procuring wireless, continuous railway-structure tilt and deformation monitoring systems under a framework agreement. The supply includes measuring equipment, data transmission, browser-based services, visualisation, automatic threshold-based alarms, commissioning and operational support. Work will mainly concern projects on the Helsinki–Tampere railway section, including phases 2 and 3 of the Helsinki–Riihimäki capacity increase and the initial phase of the Helsinki–Tampere comprehensive renewal. The estimated value is EUR 400,000 per year and EUR 1,600,000 over the framework agreement’s term, excluding VAT.
