Recruitment-oriented labour market training for early childhood education teachers for graduates in Education

Summary

The employment areas of Helsinki, Espoo-Kauniainen, Vantaa, the Tampere region, the Turku region and the Oulu region are jointly procuring recruitment-oriented labour market training comprising separate university studies that qualify participants to work as early childhood education teachers. The studies are intended for people with at least a Bachelor’s degree in Education, last approximately 14–16 months and comprise around 70–75 credits. They are delivered in a blended format, including limited in-person teaching, remote and independent study, group work, and workplace learning and practice in an early childhood education unit. The contract runs from 1 January 2027 to 31 December 2030, with the possibility of repeat training deliveries.
