Procurement of an evaluation of the language model pilot in basic education

Summary

Finland’s Ministry of Education and Culture is procuring an evaluation of a language-model pilot in basic education, running from autumn 2026 to autumn 2027. The work will gather evidence through surveys, interviews, classroom observations and focus-group discussions, and assess pedagogical suitability, user experience, learning needs and the pilot’s potential wider effects. An interim report is due by 1 June 2027, followed by a final report in late autumn 2027.
