The tender concerns the investigation of the capabilities of a SrI2 gamma spectrometry detector for continuous radiological surveillance of the Ebro River water. The study aims to evaluate the SrI2 detector's capabilities and compare it with other detectors (LaBr3 and NaI), including calibration and energy response, resolution and efficiency assessment, and determination of the minimum detectable activity. The work is expected to run for nine months from contract award; the estimated cost is 56,877.11 euros net, 68,821.30 euros including VAT.
