Whole-genome sequencing for NAKO PAIS

Summary

The tender concerns whole-genome sequencing of standardized human DNA samples from the NAKO health study within the NAKO-PAIS project. The contractor must receive and inspect the samples, perform PCR-free library preparation and whole-genome sequencing, carry out internal quality control, provide raw sequencing data and defined technical metadata in Illumina ICA-Base, and document the sample, library, run and data-delivery processes. The required average genome-wide coverage is at least 30.0x per sample; failed samples must be repeated and resequenced. The contract initially covers Tranche 1, with an option for up to 5,000 additional samples in Tranche 2. Offers must be submitted electronically in German via the procurement platform by 6 October 2026 at 11:00. The required offer documents include the offer letter, qualification questionnaire, bill of quantities, information-security form, wage-compliance declaration and data-processing agreement. Processing and storage of the genomic data must take place exclusively within the EU or EEA.
