Restoration dredging at Parikkala Siikalahti, 2026–2027

Summary

The tender concerns restoration dredging at the Parikkala Siikalahti Natura site in 2026–2027. The work will restore open-water areas by removing floating moss and marsh and aquatic vegetation, as well as willow and birch, mainly with slender growth, including their roots. In some locations, muddy ground will be exposed and seasonally wet depressions created. Bottom sediment will not be dredged. The planned volume is approximately 11,000 m³; this estimate also includes root and vegetation material and may therefore differ from the actual volume. The work will be procured as a single contract, without lots. The deadline for submitting tenders is 13 October 2026.
