Kotoluhta-Fleini forest road pavement structure improvement works

Summary

The tender covers improvement of the pavement structure on a 22,385-metre section of the Kotoluhta-Fleini forest road in the Sorvisto area of Alahärmä, Kauhava. The contractor will transport and spread approximately 29,000 tonnes of quality crushed rock: approximately 24,000 tonnes of 0–32 mm and 2,000 tonnes of 0–63 mm aggregate during winter 2026–2027, followed by approximately 3,000 tonnes of 0–32 mm aggregate for finishing in summer 2027. Winter transport must start no later than 7 January 2027 and be completed by 15 March 2027. During the winter transport, the contractor must install approximately 1,185 metres of N3-grade, 3.5-metre-wide filter fabric. Bidders must provide VAT-exclusive unit prices per tonne, the aggregate quality and supply location, and information on when work can start and what equipment will be used. The aggregate’s Los Angeles value must be below 35, and the daily transported quantity must be at least approximately 800 tonnes. The compliant offer with the lowest total price will be selected.
