DNA isolation devices

Summary

The Police Board plans to procure DNA isolation devices and related consumables and services. This machine-readable notice constitutes a market survey aimed at collecting information on forensic DNA isolation solutions, related consumables and services. It is not a call for competition or a procurement notice. The preliminary minimum requirements identified include: the solution must be suitable for forensic sample processing and must have validation and performance documentation for forensic use; DNA isolation reagents must be ISO 18385 compliant; the DNA isolation method must include a DNA purification step, for example using magnetic beads or a similar purification technique; the single-run capacity of the equipment must be at least 48 samples.
