Ultrasound examinations and reports provided by a radiologist

Summary

The procurement covers two service lots: primary healthcare ultrasound examinations performed by a specialist radiologist, and reporting of computed tomography and plain radiographic examinations. Ultrasound examinations will be carried out during office hours at the radiology department of Soite Central Hospital, using the contracting authority’s equipment and with assistance from its staff; the service provider must be able to provide the service on at least 3–4 days per month. Reports on plain radiographic and computed tomography examinations will be produced remotely through the contracting authority’s VMware Horizon portal and the Lifecare Imaging workflow system. For remote work, the service provider must arrange secure connections to the contracting authority’s information systems at its own expense, provide working conditions meeting STUK quality criteria, and ensure secure processing of patient data. The planned contract period is 1 November 2026 to 31 October 2028, with possible options for 1 November 2028 to 31 October 2029 and 1 November 2029 to 31 October 2030.
