Dynamic purchasing system for de-icing and dust-binding chemicals

Summary

Espoo City is establishing a dynamic purchasing system for chloride-based chemicals and other products used for de-icing and dust suppression on streets, roads, routes and other areas. The system has two categories: Category 1 covers chloride products such as sodium chloride, calcium chloride and magnesium chloride preparations, with an estimated total value of EUR 4,070,000 excluding VAT; Category 2 covers alternative or complementary de-icing and dust-binding products, with an estimated total value of EUR 100,000 excluding VAT. The estimated total value of all contracts during the system’s validity period is EUR 4,170,000 excluding VAT. Product use, purpose, quantities and delivery locations may vary, and the contracting authority will specify them in each subsequent internal competition. No specific purchase quantities are guaranteed. The dynamic purchasing system is open until 31 December 2034.
