Study of Low-Carbon Foundation Methods

Summary

The procurement concerns a study of low-carbon foundation methods used in Finland. The contractor must review Finnish and international research, describe commonly used foundation methods for different types of new buildings, calculate their climate impacts including carbon footprint and, where appropriate, carbon handprint, define relevant ground construction constraints, prepare a final report for the Ministry of the Environment’s publication series, and present the results at a final event. The study must be completed by the end of June 2027.
