Assessment of Urban-Region Drinking-Water Supply Resilience During Extensive Disruptions
Summary
The tender concerns a services project to develop a reliable method for assessing the regional drinking-water supply capacity of water utilities during extensive disruptions. The work must combine theoretical calculations and analysis with the use of a network model and hydraulic modelling. Disruptions may involve the loss or restricted use of major water sources and critical network components due to regional drought, extreme weather, widespread contamination or deliberate damage. The area is to be assessed as one integrated whole. An option may cover testing the developed assessment method in another urban region; activation of the option will be negotiated and agreed by the parties. The tender deadline is 15 September 2026 at 09:00 UTC. Further details are provided in the procurement documents, particularly the task description in Annex 2.
