Supervision of the renovation of Kannelmäki Church and construction of a new parish centre

Summary

The contract covers supervision of the renovation of Kannelmäki Church and the construction of a new parish centre. The services include supervision of building construction works, acting as safety, moisture-management and cleanliness-management coordinators, and comprehensive supervision of building services systems, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical and automation works. The existing 1,888 m² parish building will be demolished, except for the civil-defence shelter and one ventilation plant room, and replaced with a new 1,989 m² parish centre. Technical repairs will also be carried out at the 804 m² church building, including repairs to steel-glass external walls and external concrete structures and renewal of electrical, ventilation, drainage and sewer systems. Works are expected to start in October–November 2026 and be completed in spring 2028; the supervision assignment will last approximately 1.5 years.
