Ground investigations for the underground access connection on Viinikatu and the expansion of P-Hämpi

Summary

The tender concerns unit-price ground investigation services for the underground access connection on Viinikankatu and the expansion of P-Hämpi in Tampere. The work includes rock core drilling, rotary drilling, in-situ rock stress investigations, sampling, laboratory testing and reporting. The investigations and final reports must be completed by 31 December 2026, or as soon as possible if access to all investigation points is not available during 2026. The supplier must prepare safety plans, arrange temporary traffic management and obtain the necessary official permits. Work in railway areas requires the permits of the Finnish Transport Infrastructure Agency and valid railway work safety qualifications for personnel. The work must not disrupt rail traffic or the Tampere passenger railway station project. An option for additional or altered ground investigation services may be exercised within three years of contract signature. The tender is not divided into lots, and the selected supplier must prepare an area-specific work schedule.
