Civil tugboat service for the Ferrol Naval Arsenal

Summary

The Spanish Ministry of Defence is procuring an on-demand civil tugboat service to support port movements of vessels at the Ferrol Arsenal, Navantia berths used by military vessels, La Graña Naval Station and the Vispón berths. The service is a single, undivided contract, with tugboats rated for at least 45 tonnes of bollard pull; service prices vary by vessel tonnage and whether operations take place inside or outside the Ferrol estuary. The service is scheduled from 1 December 2026, or the later contract-signing date, until the funds are exhausted or 15 March 2027, with a possible extension through 15 August 2027; the base budget is €17,500, VAT-exempt.
