Window replacement at the UAB covered swimming pool to improve energy efficiency and indoor comfort

Summary

The Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona is procuring the replacement of windows and balcony doors on three façades of the covered swimming pool at its Bellaterra campus, to improve energy efficiency and indoor comfort. The works include installing new thermally broken aluminium frames and insulated glazing, cleaning and repairing corroded steel components, and restoring affected façade, roof-channel and interior finishes. The contract is not divided into lots; the estimated value is €214,049.59 excluding VAT, and the works are scheduled to take 12 weeks.
