Restoration of Posters Held at the Villa de Madrid Archive

Summary

The City of Madrid is procuring the restoration of 25 large-format lithographic posters held at the Villa de Madrid Archive. Dating from the early decades of the 20th century and originating from different Spanish towns, the posters have physical damage such as folds, tears and losses to their paper supports. The work includes documenting and treating the damage, producing a technical restoration report and supplying each restored poster with a custom protective sleeve; collection, transport and return are also included. The contract lasts two months and is not divided into lots.
