Floodable park and stormwater management works in San Javier

Summary

The City Council of San Javier is procuring construction works to create a floodable park at the Rambla de Cobatillas, retaining and managing stormwater and reducing the flow of solids and pollutants towards the Mar Menor. The works include reshaping the site, installing a pumping system with three submersible pumps, landscaping and planting more than 6,000 shrubs, and providing an automated irrigation network and associated public-space infrastructure. The procurement is a single contract with no lots, a budget of €1,871,131.49 including VAT and a five-month implementation period.
