Extension and renovation of the Virgen de la Plaza early childhood education centre

Summary

The Municipality of Santo Domingo de la Calzada is procuring the renovation and extension of the Virgen de la Plaza early childhood education centre in La Rioja. The single, indivisible works contract covers enlarging existing classrooms and associated toilets, creating two new classrooms for children aged 0–1, adapting the dining and staff areas, adding a translucent canopy over the outdoor play area and improving thermal insulation. The project is intended to increase the centre’s capacity from 70 to a maximum of 102 children; the planned construction period is 10 months.
