Euskal Trenbide Sarea is procuring the modernisation of the Bilbao tram traction intertripping system. The work replaces the Logytel-based equipment with a software- and PLC-based communications and control solution for the Siervas and Euskalduna substations and the Pío Baroja boundary switch. The contract covers engineering, communications equipment and modifications, PLC and SCADA programming, testing, commissioning and delivery of operating and installation documentation.
