Engineering assistance to prepare the concession tender for La Carlota’s integrated water service

Summary

The Municipality of La Carlota is procuring engineering and technical assistance to prepare and support the concession tender for the integrated water service, covering water supply, sewerage and wastewater treatment. The work includes a technical operating plan and investment programme, preliminary designs for four priority water infrastructure projects, technical service regulations and tender specifications, together with support through final approval of the tender. The four projects include a new reservoir of at least 6,000 m³ at Cerro Palomo, a transmission main to the Nuevas Poblaciones industrial area, renewal of the network in Los Algarbes, and expansion of the Arrecife reservoir from 300 m³ to 1,000 m³. The contract has no lots and is scheduled to run for seven months.
