Supply of uniforms and equipment for the El Ejido Local Police

Summary

The Municipality of El Ejido is procuring uniforms and operational equipment for its local police in two lots: (1) police uniforms, insignia, rank and identification markings, and footwear; and (2) police equipment and accessories, including safety and operational items. Bids may cover one or both lots. The two-year contract has a budget of EUR 414,274.36 including VAT and may be extended by mutual agreement for up to two additional one-year periods, for a maximum total duration of four years. The contract will be awarded on the basis of unit prices. Tenderers must demonstrate relevant turnover and experience with similar supplies, and submit technical product sheets, laboratory evidence and the required samples. Samples must be anonymous. Of the evaluation points, 70 are for price, up to 25 for sample quality and up to 5 for an extended warranty period. The successful tenderer must provide a final guarantee equal to 5% of the contract amount and, before performance begins, liability insurance of at least EUR 600,000.
