Tender detail
Supply and servicing of tyres for the Córdoba fire-service vehicle fleet
Summary
The contract covers the supply of new tyres and the replacement, fitting, balancing, alignment and repair of tyres on the Córdoba provincial fire and rescue fleet. It also includes removing and properly managing used tyres and, where needed, using a mobile workshop. The consortium operates 93 vehicles at 11 fire stations and its Córdoba central offices. Quantities are estimates; payment is based on unit prices for work and supplies actually ordered and delivered. The contract runs from 1 January 2027 to 31 December 2028, with one possible one-year extension. The two-year budget ceiling is €70,000 excluding VAT, or €84,700 including VAT; the estimated value including the extension is €105,000 excluding VAT. Scheduled orders must be supplied and the tyres replaced within 5 working days. Urgent, unscheduled needs must be handled within 48 hours, without an additional charge. Offers are evaluated on tyre prices (75 points), labour and repair prices (15 points), and reductions to the response times for scheduled and unscheduled work (up to 5 points each). Bidders must demonstrate the required financial and technical capacity and hold authorisation to operate a vehicle repair workshop. Tyres must meet the technical and type-approval requirements and be no more than 20 weeks old when installed. The contractor must submit quarterly reports on end-of-life tyre management. The tender documents give conflicting penalty calculations for failure to submit these reports; the applicable rate should be verified in the final tender documents.
