Rental of Two Organic Waste Collection and Compaction Trucks

Summary

The contract is for the rental, without drivers, of two rear-loading refuse collection and compaction trucks with a usable capacity of 8 m³, for the separate collection of organic waste in the municipalities of Santa Cruz de La Palma and Los Llanos de Aridane. The vehicles may be new or used but must be in good working order and meet the minimum specifications: a compaction ratio of at least 1:2.5, compatibility with 800- and 1,200-litre bins, engine power of at least 140 CV or equivalent, and Euro VI emissions or better. They must also have a leak-tight body and controlled leachate collection, safety equipment and operational GPS. The rental price must include maintenance, inspections, tyres, 24/7 roadside assistance, comprehensive insurance without an excess, GPS service and a replacement vehicle when required. If a breakdown or maintenance cannot be resolved within one working day after notification, an equivalent or better replacement truck must be provided. Drivers, fuel and routine cleaning are excluded. Delivery is estimated for 8 November 2026, and the contract runs from signature until 6 September 2027; the estimated billing period is 10 months. The estimated contract value is EUR 156,420 excluding IGIC, and the maximum budget is EUR 167,369.40 including IGIC. The bidder must submit a single electronic tender for the complete contract, including the completed price proposal, vehicle specifications and supporting compliance documents, a commitment to make the vehicles available, and a declaration of each vehicle’s registration year and mileage. Mileage must be evidenced with an odometer photograph. Price scores up to 75 points; each vehicle first registered in 2021 or later scores 7.5 points (up to 15 total), and each vehicle with no more than 18,000 km scores 5 points (up to 10 total).
