External occupational risk prevention services and extended medical examinations

Summary

The procurement covers an external occupational health and safety prevention service for the staff of the Sindicatura de Comptes de Catalunya, together with medical examinations and optional additional tests. The service includes occupational safety, industrial hygiene, ergonomics and psychosocial risk management, occupational medicine and health surveillance, risk assessments, emergency plans and annual drills, accident investigations, environmental measurements, advice and staff training. Annual health examinations include, among other things, a medical history, physical examination, blood and urine tests; additional examinations may include gynaecological and urological examinations, bone-density scans, chest X-rays and exercise tests, subject to the specified conditions. The initial contract runs for 12 months and may be extended four times for 12 months each, for a maximum total term of 60 months. The budget for the initial period is €20,951.25 including VAT (€19,245 excluding VAT); the fixed occupational prevention services are capped at €8,125 excluding VAT and the variable examination and test component at €11,120 excluding VAT. The variable component is paid at the awarded unit prices for tests actually carried out, and the full budget need not be spent. The bidder must be authorised to provide external prevention services in all four disciplines, have access to an authorised medical centre in Barcelona, and provide the required technical and medical team. Price accounts for up to 60 points and automatically assessed quality criteria for up to 40: a digital management platform (up to 15), additional analyses or tests at no extra cost (up to 15), and extra advice or training hours (up to 10). One electronic bid must be submitted within 15 calendar days of publication of the contract notice.
