Preventive healthcare and intervention services for Vilanova i la Geltrú’s November Fair 2026 (13–15 November)
Summary
This procurement establishes a four-year dynamic purchasing system for selecting companies eligible to bid for specific contracts to provide preventive healthcare and intervention services for the Municipality of Vilanova i la Geltrú. Services are needed at events organised or co-organised by the municipality, including cultural, sporting and commercial events, the November Fair, emergencies and activations of local civil-protection plans. The system has an estimated total value of €320,312.40 excluding VAT; this is indicative and does not guarantee any order volume. Companies may apply for the standard-services category, the specialised-services category, or both. Services may include first-aid teams with supplies and automated external defibrillators, ambulances providing basic or advanced life support, medical and nursing teams, rapid-intervention vehicles, transport for people with reduced mobility, field hospitals or mobile clinics, health-risk assessments for events, and emergency response. For specialised emergency call-outs, the first team with the required personnel and equipment must arrive within 30 minutes. Indicative, non-binding service volumes are: standard category—36 hours of Class B ambulance service, 12 hours of Class C ambulance service with a nurse, 14 hours of Class C ambulance service with a nurse and doctor, and 52 hours of first-aid and defibrillator provision. Specialised category—220 hours of Class B ambulance service, 50 hours of Class C ambulance service with a nurse, 30 hours of Class C ambulance service with a nurse and doctor, 10 hours of a medical motorcycle with a defibrillator, 300 hours of first-aid and defibrillator provision, 202 hours of emergency medical technician provision, 10 hours of a rapid-intervention vehicle, 10 hours of transport for people with reduced mobility, and 80 hours of coordination. Applicants must demonstrate authorisation and financial and technical capacity and submit the required application and supporting documents. Once admitted to the system, a company will be invited to compete for specific contracts in its admitted category; each invitation will set out that contract’s details, award criteria and any applicable guarantee.
