Operation of the cafeteria on the ground floor of Valseca Town Hall

Summary

The concession is for the commercial operation of a 125 m² cafeteria on the ground floor of Valseca Town Hall. The premises include a kitchen with a gas cooker, extractor hood, two combination refrigerators, a multifunction oven, dishwasher and sink, as well as a serving area, two toilets and a storeroom. The concession runs for two years and may be extended by mutual agreement for a further two years, up to a maximum of four years. Bidders must offer an annual concession fee of at least €50; the concession will be awarded to the bidder offering the highest fee. The annual fee is payable in January. No provisional guarantee is required, but the successful bidder must provide a final guarantee equal to 3% of the total fee offered. The operator must open the cafeteria within one month of signing the contract and keep it open throughout the year. The operator is responsible for operating costs, utilities, taxes and other charges, and for supplying any additional furniture or equipment needed. The operator must keep the premises and supplied equipment clean and in good repair, comply with food-service hygiene and other applicable rules, and obtain the permits required to operate. The operator must also submit the responsible declaration for a catering business to the regional authority, provide a copy to the municipality, and maintain third-party liability insurance with cover of at least €300,000. Bidders must have full legal capacity and must not be barred from public contracts; separate evidence of financial or technical capacity is not required. Bids must be submitted within 15 working days from the day after publication of the contract notice.
