Periodic Lift Inspections and Reports for Buildings of the Provincial Council of Cádiz

Summary

The contract covers statutory periodic inspections of 16 lifts at 11 sites belonging to the Provincial Council of Cádiz, together with the preparation of inspection reports and certificates. The work includes classifying defects, registering the results with the competent regional authority and, where necessary, monitoring defect rectification. If defects requiring correction are found, a follow-up inspection and second report must be provided after the correction period at no extra charge. Inspections must be scheduled so that statutory deadlines are not exceeded; the specified deadlines are 15 November, 4, 10 and 11 December 2026, 27 January 2027, 29 August 2027, and 5 June and 28 October 2027. Each report must be issued within 10 working days of the inspection. The contract runs for 24 months, expected from 1 November 2026 to 31 October 2028, with extensions of up to 24 months. The tender budget is EUR 1,744 excluding VAT, or EUR 2,110.24 including VAT; the maximum unit price for each lift inspection is EUR 109 excluding VAT. Price carries up to 85 points, and using one vehicle with a DGT ZERO-emission or ECO label for inspectors’ travel carries up to 15 points. The contract is not divided into lots and no guarantee is required. The provider must act as a control body accredited to inspect lifts. Inspection documents must be created digitally and sent electronically; paper copies are permitted only if the contracting authority makes a justified request.
