Supply of Salesforce Education Cloud licences for student recruitment and migration from HEDA

Summary

The tender is for Salesforce Education Cloud licences and subscriptions supplied as software as a service to Carlos III University of Madrid. The solution will establish a new university-wide environment, support student recruitment for postgraduate studies, the International School and continuing education, and enable migration from the current HEDA environment. The supply includes a new, empty cloud environment, at least one Partial Copy or Full Sandbox for testing, integration and training, and data hosting within the European Union in compliance with the GDPR and the National Security Framework. The licence schedule includes 4,000 monthly Education Cloud customer-community logins, 110 Education Cloud Sales and Service licences, one Marketing Cloud subscription, one Salesforce Foundations Flex Credits package, one Salesforce Foundations licence, one Data 360 Provisioning, 5,000 WhatsApp message credits, 15 Agentforce digital contact-centre licences, 3 Knowledge licences, one partner contact-centre licence, 6 partner-community member licences and 110 Slack licences. Subscriptions run for one year, and additional licences may be purchased during the contract at the supplier’s unit prices. The university may place the order within three months after contract execution, and the supplier must deliver the licences on time. The supplier must provide telephone support for an eight-hour working day, with mandatory availability between 09:00 and 14:00, Monday to Friday except public holidays, and describe support and maintenance arrangements in its offer. The bidder must be authorised by Salesforce to sell the licences and be a Salesforce consulting partner. Economic award criteria apply: the best overall financial offer is worth 80 points and improvements to the Education Cloud licence offer are worth 20 points. The estimated value is EUR 108,784.66; the tender budget is EUR 90,653.88 excluding VAT and EUR 109,691.19 including 21% VAT.
