Supply and installation for repair of the indoor sports floor at El Toscar Sports Centre

Summary

The Municipality of Elche is procuring materials and installation work to repair the indoor sports floor at El Toscar Sports Centre. The work includes removing the existing 9 mm PVC sports flooring, cleaning it and reinstalling it over a new 1.6 mm moisture barrier, repairing joints, heat-welding the PVC seams and restoring the court markings. The barrier must cover 1,530 m² and be GERFLOR ISOLSPORT or a technically equivalent product fully compatible with the existing flooring. The floor must remain separated from the subfloor and retain the required sports performance, including impact absorption of at least 38%, P2 classification, ball rebound of at least 90% and an impact absorption index of at least 82%. The work is expected to take approximately three weeks from approval of the setting-out check, subject to the substrate’s moisture conditions. The estimated value is EUR 64,183.50 excluding VAT; the budget including VAT is EUR 77,662.04. Evaluation awards up to 80 points for price, up to 15 points for extending the two-year warranty and up to 5 points for offering a roll of original sports flooring free of charge. Bids must be submitted electronically as a single package, including the signed declaration and offer and the membrane’s technical data sheet. The bidder’s annual turnover in the relevant supply field must have been at least EUR 64,183.50 in its best year among the last three available financial years. Before contract award, the successful bidder must provide liability insurance with cover of at least EUR 300,000 and a guarantee equal to 5% of the contract price.
