Supply and installation of a vacuum pump and high-pressure pump for a tanker truck
Summary
CATSA is seeking the supply and installation of a new vacuum pump and high-pressure pump for a tanker truck used by its sanitation service, together with removal of the existing equipment and comprehensive vehicle refurbishment. The work also includes repairing the automatic hose reel, drive system and pneumatic valves; installing a new quick-connect valve and side guards; sandblasting and painting the tank; testing and commissioning the equipment; training staff; managing waste; and obtaining the required vehicle-modification approval through the vehicle inspection process. The vacuum pump must provide at least 15,270 l/min and operate at up to 2.5 bar. The high-pressure pump must deliver at least 168 l/min at up to 320 bar. The equipment must be compatible with the existing two-axle MAN tanker, which has an 8 m³ tank, and the installation must not impair the vehicle’s safety or performance. Final acceptance requires successful operational tests and delivery of the technical and legalisation documents. The contract is not divided into lots, runs for up to 6 months and has a base budget of EUR 74,800 excluding VAT (EUR 90,508 including VAT). Bids are assessed using automatic criteria: price up to 60 points, extended warranty up to 15 points, reduced vehicle downtime up to 10 points, faster on-site technical assistance during the warranty period up to 8 points, and free preventive maintenance up to 7 points. Bidders must demonstrate the required turnover and comparable experience and provide a qualified workshop manager, technicians and suitable workshop equipment. The bid must include a technical data sheet and the required responsible declaration and must be submitted electronically as a complete offer.
