Design and delivery of the 4YFN Barcelona 2027 exhibition space

Summary

The contract covers the end-to-end design and delivery of Fundació Barcelona Mobile World Capital Foundation’s exhibition space at 4YFN Barcelona 2027, taking place from 1 to 4 March 2027 in halls 8.1 and 8.0 of the Fira de Barcelona Gran Via venue. The work includes conceptual and technical design, technical project management and coordination, production, transport, installation, assembly and dismantling of the required elements, decoration and application of the corporate identity, provision or supply of furniture and technical and audiovisual equipment, and the technical, logistical and ancillary services needed during the event. The estimated value is EUR 84,000 excluding VAT, or EUR 101,640 including 21% VAT. The bid must state both a unit price for up to five pop-up catering services and a lump-sum price for the other services. The reference ceilings are EUR 800 per catering service and EUR 80,000 for lump-sum services, excluding VAT. The bidder must undertake to provide sufficient personnel and materials for performance. The exhibition-space design and construction project director must have at least two comparable projects, supported by a CV and evidence. The technical proposal is assessed for up to 50 points, covering the design, team and operational plan. Automatic criteria carry up to 50 points: price up to 30, additional project-director experience up to 5, sustainability and innovation commitments up to 10, and response time to critical incidents during public opening hours up to 5. Sustainability commitments concern dismantlability, reuse and recycling of materials, a materials passport, and documented sustainability and innovation management systems. The bidder must also specify an exact on-site response time in minutes, which must not exceed 45 minutes.
