Specialised sports services for delivering the “En Moviment” programme

Summary

Elche is procuring specialised sports services for the municipal “En Moviment” programme for an initial term of one year, with an option to extend for a further year. The service links health-centre referrals with local sports provision for adults: it includes initial participant assessments, tailored exercise plans, supervised group sessions and safety oversight, participant monitoring, interim and final assessments, reporting, and coordination with the Toscar and El Raval health centres. The programme is intended for adult Elche residents with chronic conditions or risk factors, or low levels of physical activity; participation requires prior assessment and referral by a healthcare professional. Sessions will take place in Multi-Purpose Room B at the Sara Marín and María Díez Sports Pavilion, in four groups, each meeting twice weekly. The workload is 16 hours per week in total: 8 hours of direct instruction and 8 hours for preparation, coordination, monitoring and evaluation, amounting to approximately 696 working hours per year. Payment is based on hours actually delivered, and the maximum tendered rate is €25 per hour excluding VAT. The annual budget is €17,400 excluding VAT and €21,054 including VAT; the estimated value, including the possible extension, is €34,800 excluding VAT. Offers are evaluated on price, additional hours at no cost and the assigned staff member’s relevant experience. The bidder must undertake to provide the required resources and assign at least one physical trainer with the required degree and professional registration. The service must use both official languages of the Valencian Community.
