Annual audit of the accounts of the Leonardo Torres Quevedo Foundation

Summary

The procurement is for an annual external audit of Fundación Leonardo Torres Quevedo’s financial statements for the 2026, 2027 and 2028 financial years, including compliant audit reports. The work covers audit planning, risk assessment and audit procedures, examination of the balance sheet, profit-and-loss statement and notes, and reporting the findings with recommendations for corrections where appropriate. The final audit report must be issued within 15 days after the foundation submits its approved annual accounts. The 2026 report is due before June 2027, the 2027 report before June 2028 and the 2028 report before June 2029. The auditor must take account of the foundation’s planned transition into the public sector. The contract runs for up to three years and is not divided into lots. The budget ceiling is €22,800 excluding VAT (€27,588 including 21% VAT), or €7,600 excluding VAT per year. Offers above the VAT-exclusive ceiling will be rejected. Price carries 50 points; the other 50 points reward the firm’s previous audits for different foundations (up to 35 points) and the audit experience of the partner, manager and senior/junior auditor assigned to the contract (up to 15 points). Bidders must submit a technical memorandum complying with the specifications and one electronic bid. Subcontracting is prohibited.
