Maintenance and gardening services for landscaped areas and street trees

Summary

The contract covers comprehensive maintenance of all municipal green spaces, gardens, planted areas and street trees in Cantoria for one year, with no extension. The work includes mowing lawns and meadows; inspecting and pruning trees and palms; maintaining hedges and shrubs; planting and replacing plants; checking and making minor repairs to irrigation systems; weed control and cleaning; and removing green waste and other refuse. Necessary plant protection products and a lift for tree work at height are also included. The technical staffing estimate is three full-time workers: two gardeners and one gardening assistant. The contractor must organise the work, replace staff and equipment when needed, submit an initial work programme within 10 calendar days of commencement, and provide monthly work reports. The estimated contract value is €123,966.94 excluding VAT, with a maximum budget of €150,000 including VAT. Tenders must be submitted electronically within 15 calendar days from the day after publication of the contract notice. Each bidder may submit one tender; subcontracting and variants are not permitted. Evaluation awards up to 20 points for faster response to service requests, up to 40 points for price, and up to 40 points combined for additional improvements, a commitment to hire unemployed people, and knowledge of the local area. The successful bidder must provide the required evidence within 10 working days and furnish a definitive guarantee equal to 5% of its tender price excluding VAT.
