Drinking Water and Wastewater Analyses

Summary

The contract covers the collection and laboratory analysis of drinking-water and wastewater samples for the municipality of Cantoria over 12 months. The work includes monthly sample collection (12 times a year); drinking-water network or regulating-tank checks (4 samples); checks at a storage tank, supply headworks or treatment plant (8); complete drinking-water analyses (4); consumer-tap samples (16); analyses of substances on the watch list (4); water characterisation (6); wastewater analyses (32); and Legionella samples (2) per year. Testing covers, among other things, physical, chemical and microbiological water indicators, metals, pesticides, PFAS and other contaminants. Wastewater tests cover oils and fats, detergents, oxygen demand, phosphorus, nitrogen, pH and suspended solids. The contractor must provide sampling materials, prepare test reports with the results, download and convert the reports, and provide technical advice. Analyses must comply with the applicable legislation. The sample quantities are estimates, and payment is due for analyses actually requested or authorised; additional work may be billed separately. The estimated contract value is €11,728.60 excluding VAT and the budget including VAT is €14,191.70. The contract runs for 12 months from signature and cannot be extended. Bids must be submitted electronically within 15 calendar days from the day after publication of the contract notice. Evaluation awards up to 25 points for price, up to 50 points for extending the warranty period, and up to 25 points for the service organisation, resources, experience and proposed sample-transport arrangements. The successful bidder must provide a final performance guarantee equal to 5% of its offered price excluding VAT.
