Design and supervision for the new phase of Lucena Municipal Auditorium

Summary

The contract covers design and related construction-phase services for a new phase of Lucena Municipal Auditorium. The contractor must update the execution project and the health and safety study using the 2019 project documents, and prepare a waste-management study and quality-control plan, taking account of unfinished areas and the fact that the auditorium remains in use. The planned phase includes completing the gallery and boxes, access routes and connections between floors, ancillary spaces, and increasing auditorium seating capacity. The work also includes construction supervision, health and safety coordination, weekly site visits, monthly reports and works certifications, and preparation of the as-built project and building documentation. The project must be delivered within three months of contract signature; the preliminary report on the construction company’s health and safety plan is due within one week after it is submitted, and the final as-built project and building book are due within 15 days after approval of the final works certificate. The estimated maximum contract duration is 48 months. The tender budget is EUR 60,325 excluding VAT and EUR 72,993.25 including VAT. Bids are assessed on the technical project and building analysis (30 points), price (40 points) and additional team experience (30 points). The technical proposal must score more than 15 out of 30, and bidders must visit the auditorium before submitting a bid and include proof of the visit. The contract is co-financed 85% by the European Regional Development Fund and 15% by Lucena municipality.
