Management of Albox Municipal Play Centres and Family Work-Life Reconciliation Service 2026–2027

Summary

The contract covers the comprehensive management of Albox’s municipal play centres and support for families in reconciling work and family responsibilities at two locations: the Water and Health Centre and premises in the San Juan neighbourhood. The service is intended for approximately 50 families and children aged 3–12. The contractor will organise recreational, cultural, sports and educational activities; provide programme information and process applications; and monitor and evaluate the service. The contract includes necessary consumables, occupational safety costs, and public liability and accident insurance. The service will operate Monday to Friday on school days from 15:30 to 19:30, and from 08:00 to 14:00 on a total of 59 working days when schools are closed. The contract runs from signature until 31 December 2027. The bidder must provide a suitably qualified team: three play-centre monitors qualified in early childhood education, TAFAD or social integration, and a university-qualified coordinator with training in gender equality. Professional liability insurance of at least €300,000 is required, as is registration in ROLECE or an application for registration by the bid deadline. Bids must be submitted electronically within 15 calendar days, starting the day after publication of the contract notice. The fixed budget is €120,793.89, exempt from VAT; bids at a different price will not be accepted. Evaluation includes 20 points for the activity plan, scheduling and evaluation, and up to 80 points for extended service hours, the coordinator’s additional qualification, healthy snacks and psychological or emotional support workshops. The core service may not be subcontracted.
