Healthcare services during fairs and events

Summary

The contract covers first-line healthcare and medical assistance by ambulance at trade fairs and events organised or marketed by Societat Valenciana Fira Alacant. The service includes a basic life-support ambulance and, when required, a doctor and a technician with a first-aid kit. The estimated annual requirement is 600 hours of ambulance service, 60 hours of doctor services and 60 hours of technician-plus-kit services; payment is based on hours actually delivered. Maximum hourly rates are €70, €63 and €38 respectively, and the annual budget is €48,060; the service is VAT-exempt. The contract runs for one year, with a possible one-year extension. Bidders must demonstrate the required turnover and relevant service experience, hold authorisation for ambulance transport, provide the required medical equipment and maintain liability insurance with at least €200,000 cover. Offers are evaluated automatically: price carries up to 65 points, free additional hours up to 15, the number of ambulances owned by the bidder up to 10, and the distance from its logistics base to Fira Alacant up to 10. The contract is not divided into lots.
