Operation of the bar at the Santa María de la Isla sociocultural centre

Summary

The contract is for operating the bar at the Santa María de la Isla sociocultural centre at Calle del Medio 26. The contractor will provide bar and café services, serve drinks and food, attend to customers, clean the premises and toilets daily, manage waste and comply with food-safety requirements. Furniture and kitchen equipment made available by the municipality may be used. The contract lasts six months and may be extended by mutual agreement. No fee is payable for use of the bar; estimated turnover for the six-month period is €9,000. The bar must generally open Tuesday to Sunday, with Monday as the weekly rest day, and must also operate during official events. The minimum opening time is 10:00. Earlier opening earns evaluation points, and the selected time becomes a contractual obligation. The operator may close for up to 15 calendar days per year for justified reasons, after notifying the municipality in advance. Closing times must remain within the applicable legal limits: until 01:30 the following day from Monday to Thursday, 02:00 on Fridays and the eve of public holidays, and 02:30 on Saturdays and public holidays. Bidders must demonstrate at least six months of hospitality experience and be able to provide civil liability insurance with cover of at least €60,000. Offers are also scored for additional experience and an earlier opening time. A responsible declaration and the form for automatically scored criteria must be submitted. No provisional or final guarantee is required.
