Design and delivery of reading engagement activities in A Coruña municipal libraries

Summary

The contract covers the design and delivery of activities for the “Merendas con Contos” reading programme in A Coruña’s municipal libraries. The programme serves children aged 3–7 and their families through performances and participatory activities at eight libraries and lending points. Each season, from October to May, there will be 13 approximately 45-minute sessions at each location, for a total of 104 sessions; at least 32 sessions must feature two characters. Sessions must be delivered in Galician, live music must be included in at least one third of them, and at least 50% of the selected works must be in Galician. The contractor will design and deliver the sessions, work with library staff, and submit schedules, scripts and selections of works. The initial contract term is two years, with two possible one-year extensions. Bidders must document the team’s experience and training and provide the required technical-offer materials; project participants working with children must provide criminal-record certificates.
