Supply of spare parts for AEMET meteorological equipment and stations

Summary

The tender covers the supply of spare parts for AEMET’s automatic and semi-automatic weather stations, divided into four lots: equipment for the automated secondary climatological network, real-time synoptic monitoring stations, new-generation automatic weather stations, and stations in high mountains, emergency locations in the Balearic Islands and national parks. Items include sensors, precipitation and wind measuring equipment, cables, data loggers, and power and connection components. Parts must be new, high-quality and fully compatible with the stations; equivalent products must be supported by evidence of their performance and compatibility with existing systems. Bids may be submitted for up to all four lots. Price is the sole award criterion, and each lot is priced using unit prices. Lots 1 and 2 are delivered in two stages: the first within 6 months and the second within 18 months of contract signature. All goods for Lots 3 and 4 must be delivered within 6 months. The maximum contract duration is 18 months. Goods must be delivered to a warehouse designated by AEMET in the Madrid region, less than 40 km from central Madrid. Bids must be submitted electronically, and bidders must demonstrate the required lot-specific turnover and experience in similar supplies.
