Management of the La Colmena Children's Centre

Summary

The contract covers the full management of La Colmena, a public early-childhood education and care centre in Colmenar de Oreja. The centre has 8 groups and 118 places for children aged 0–3: two groups for ages 0–1, three for ages 1–2 and three for ages 2–3. The service includes educational and administrative management and the provision of extended services, including meals and extended opening hours from 7:30 to 17:00. The contractor must provide the staff, arrange cleaning and maintenance, take over the staff attached to the service, and maintain the building and inventory. The contract runs from 1 September 2026 to 31 August 2027, with a possible one-school-year extension; the annual budget is €291,440.01, exempt from VAT. Bidders must demonstrate turnover of at least €291,440.01 and the required previous service experience, and provide educational staff with the required qualifications and experience. Price is not an award criterion: bids are assessed on a management and organisation plan worth up to 55 points and additional quality commitments worth up to 45 points.
