Supply and installation of a secure firearms and ammunition storage system

Summary

The contract covers the supply, transport, installation, configuration and integration with the SALTO KS platform of a secure firearms and ammunition storage system for the Siero Local Police, including commissioning and user training. The supply must include five firearm-storage columns providing individual storage for at least 60 handguns, electronic locks, at least four online IQ nodes or antennas, and a separate certified ammunition safe with capacity for at least 3,000 rounds of 9×19 mm ammunition. The complete system must be operational and fully compatible with the existing SALTO KS platform. Bidders must provide technical data sheets, certificates and evidence of compliance, together with plans for installation, testing, training and maintenance. Installation must be completed within 60 calendar days of contract signature. Maintenance and warranty cover four years, with at least one maintenance visit each year. Incidents must be resolved within 24 hours, and service outages attributable to the contractor in the 365×24×7 service must be resolved within five hours. The estimated contract value is EUR 32,000 excluding VAT, and the maximum budget is EUR 38,720 including VAT. Price is the sole award criterion. Bids must be submitted electronically in Spanish within 15 calendar days starting the day after publication of the contract notice; the deadline-day cut-off is 14:00. No provisional guarantee is required. The proposed successful bidder must provide a final guarantee equal to 5% of the contract award value excluding VAT within seven working days.
