Monitoring service for shellfish populations

Summary

The contract concerns a shellfish populations monitoring service in Asturias. The bidder will conduct qualitative field surveys for three main species (barnacle, sea urchin, and sea anemone) to gather information supporting sustainable resource management. Work is planned for summers 2027–2029, including boat-based observation and photographic documentation, with reports for each management plan. Results and data management will be delivered, including GIS layers. FEMPA funding covers 70% of the costs; budgets per lot are detailed. Duration: Lot 1 and Lot 3 – 36 months (01-01-2027 to 31-12-2029); Lot 2 – 38 months (01-11-2026 to 31-12-2029).
