Vehicle lease with maintenance and insurance

Summary

The contract covers a four-year lease of one vehicle for Canal de Isabel II, including maintenance and insurance. It is not divided into lots. The vehicle’s technical and environmental requirements and the detailed service arrangements are set out in the tender documents. The estimated budget is EUR 40,000 excluding VAT, or EUR 48,400 including VAT; bids above the excluding-VAT limit will not be considered. Bidders must be able to demonstrate experience supplying comparable vehicles during the previous three years and annual turnover of at least EUR 40,000 in the relevant field in the best of their last three available financial years. Contract delivery requires at least an account manager and a dedicated fleet manager, a commercial office in Spain, a dedicated telephone support line, and fleet management and analysis tools. The successful bidder must deliver the vehicle within three months at the latest; a shorter delivery time and a replacement vehicle can earn evaluation points. The bid must be submitted electronically as a single file and include the required declarations and price offer. Price is worth up to 70 points, a shorter delivery period up to 20 points, and a replacement vehicle 10 points. The successful bidder must provide a final guarantee equal to 5% of the contract price excluding VAT. The vehicle must carry the extensive insurance cover specified in the tender documents, including EUR 50 million in voluntary third-party liability cover and at least EUR 60,000 in accident and medical cover for the driver and passengers.
